Code/Rag has always been more than just another online tech blog. We strive to be part of the tech community—serving an essential, fundamental look at what’s going on in the valley. It’s why our tagline is “Know Your Code.” We think a tech news publication should know the basics. Be the source. Get down to brass tacks. We can do that because we’re part of the very ecosystem we’re reporting on. And like any other company in the Silicon Valley community, Code/Rag is an ever-evolving entity.
Part of Code/Rag’s evolution includes our new investor: Bachmanity Capital. Bachmanity, as of this writing, owns a 50 percent stake in Code/Rag. I want to assure our readers this will in no way affect the quality or integrity of our journalism (it takes more than a couple dollars to shut me up). It simply means we have more funds to chase down the story, more resources to analyze trends and more assurances that when you read Code/Rag, you’ll know your code.

Bachmanity paid $500,000 for a 50% stake in Coderag?? Wow. A $1 million valuation for a leading tech blog is an absolute steal. Everyone criticized Bighead when he partnered with Bachman, but this deal shows the genius of both – Bachman’s genius in recognizing that Coderag was undervalued, and then in orchestrating the deal, and Bighetti’s genius in trusting and partnering with Bachman.
Use Pied Piper technology to compress more TJ Miller into the show.
Hey, don’t want sound like a Conspiracy theory. But Nelson Bighetti is a former member from Hooli, then Codrag throw shade on Hooli about internet neutrality, the Bachmanity invest in Coderag.

Exactly. The head of xyz leaves Hooli with a huge golden parachute, and just happens to buy the blog that’s whistleblowing on his former company? This has Gavin Belson written all over it.
Totaly. And then that “routine power cycling” at the Hooliplex…. Gavin is buying up media to control the information he can’t already control. My friend works at Hooli and she said the whole building lost power right after Gavin was seen going down to talk to those Nucleus guys. Could it be this (the scrubbing, having lackey’s buy prominent tech blogs) is all just a big shady conspiracy?
